ORDINANCE NO.
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, RELINQUISHING PORTIONS OF
AN EASEMENT LOCATED ACROSS LOT "H" AND LOT "I' OF EWERS SUBDIVISION IN THE
CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI,AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The City Council finds that the following prescribed easement is surplus property
of the City and is no longer needed for any public purpose:
Sanitary Easement Description; Book 279, Page 288.A strip of land 10 feet of even
width across part of the Northeast Quarter of Section 34,Township 45 North, Range
12 West, in the City of Jefferson, Cole County, Missouri; the centerline of said 10
foot strip being more particularly described as follows:
From the center of said Section 34; thence north along the Quarter Section
Iine,210.0 feet to the north line of Sue Drive;thence east along the north line of Sue
Drive, 240.11; thence N 04° 28' 42" W, 259.53 feet; thence N 05` 20' 19" E, 206.0
feet, to the beginning point of this description; thence continuing N 05° 20' 19" E,
29.40 feet; thence N 03' 31' 59"W, 94.46 feet; thence S85° 51'20"W, 256.14 feet,
to the point of termination of this center line description. 3,800.0 sq. ft. 0.087 Acres
Section 2. The easement described in Section 1 is hereby relinquished, and the City does
hereby release and abandon whatever interest previously held in such easement.
Section 3. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after the date of its
passage and approval.
