AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE CODE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, BY
INCREASING THE MEMBERSHIP OF THE ANNEXATION COMMITTEE TO INCLUDE ALL TEN
CITY COUNCIL MEMBERS.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Chapter 2 (Administration) Section 46 (Committees) Subsection A (Standing
Committees) is amended as follows:
Sec. 2-46.Committees.
A. Standing Committees.
At the first regular meeting of the city council held after the city election, or as soon thereafter as
may be practical, the following standing committees of the City Council shall be appointed by the
mayor:
I. Committee on public works and planning to be composed of five council members.
2. Committee on finance to be composed of five council members.
3. Budget Committee composed of all council members. The Chairman of the finance
committee will be the chairman of the budget committee. (Ord.No. 115% § 1,4-15-91;

5. Committee on Administration, composed of five council members.
6. Committee on Annexation and Planned Growth to be composed of ten five-Council

Section 2. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from an after the date of its
