HomeMy Public PortalAbout1987-091Member its adoption: introduced the following resolution and moved CITY OF MEDINA RESOLUTION NO. 0 /-9 RESOLUTION GRANTING PRELIMINARY APPROVAL OF A SUBDIVISION FOR MARTY SCHNEIDER WHEREAS, Marty Schneider (Applicant) has requested approval of a plan to subdivide a parcel located near Medina Road, Mohawk Road and Co. Rd. 24 into two parcels plus an outlot according to the survey attached hereto as Exhibit A; and WHEREAS, the planning commission and city council have reviewed the preliminary plat submitted by the Applicant. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Medina, Minnesota that preliminary approval is granted to the Applicant for his subdivision, subject to the following conditions: 1. Access for the outlot shall be shown on the final plat; 2. The Applicant shall enter into a private road agreement in a form satisfactory to the city attorney; 3. The Applicant shall pay to the city a park dedication fee in the amount determined by city staff; 4. The final plat shall show the drainage and utility easements required by the city engineer; 5. The Applicant shall dedicate to the City the right-of-way for Co. Rd. 24, Mohawk Drive and, if necessary, Medina Road, as specified by the city staff; 6. The Applicant shall pay to the city for administrative expenses the amount determined by the city staff to represent the actual cost to the city of reviewing the subdivision; 7. The Applicant shall submit a current abstract of title or registered property abstract covering all land within the subdivision for review by the city attorney; and 8. The Applicant shall submit the final plat to the city for approval within 180 days of the date of the adoption of this resolution, which final plat shall in all material respects conform to the preliminary plat, except that it shall incorporate all changes and modifications required by this resolution.
