AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF 2000
MUNICIPAL ALLIANCE AGREEMENT
WHEREAS, the Borough of Carteret is in receipt of a 2000 Municipal Alliance
Agreement between the County of Middlesex and the Borough of Carteret; and
WHEREAS, the County desires to provide thc sum of $18,364.00 in State funds to
be paid to the Borough of Carteret including $16,764.00 for Municipal Alliance
related activities and $1,600.00 for related Municipal Alliance training activities; and
WHEREAS, the Borough of Carteret must provide a match of $18,364.00 in cash
and in-kind services to receive the aforementioned said sum; and
WHEREAS, this agreement shall be effcctive for the period of January 1, 2000 to
December 31, 2000.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mayor of the Borough of
Carterct is hereby authorized to execute said 2000 Municipal Alliance Agreement on
behalf of the Borough of Carterct.
