RESOLUTION 2018-03-03
A RESOLUTION ADOPTING THE FRASER RIVER CORRIDOR
MASTER PLAN
WHEREAS, the Fraser Town Board, Planning Commission, staff, and community
participated in a Fraser River Corridor Master Plan initiative with THK Associates, Inc. in
Fall 2017 and Winter 2018; and
WHEREAS, the consultant, THK Associates, Inc., in conjunction with Town Staff, have
produced a master plan that provides strategies for near-term and long-term
enhancements to the Cozens Ranch Open Space; and
WHEREAS, the community engagement and the plan serve as a foundation for making the
Fraser River Corridor Master Plan a reality.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE TOWN OF FRASER, COLORADO THAT:
The Town Board hereby adopts the attached Fraser River Corridor Master Plan and
associated appendices (together with such additional technical revisions and corrections,
including corrections to format, numbering, and internal consistency as the Town Staff deem
necessary) as a guiding document to be used to direct and determine the future of Cozens
Ranch Open Space in the Fraser River Corridor and commits to the implementation of key
recommendations as detailed in the attached document.
DULY MOVED, SECONDED AND ADOPTED THIS 21st DAY OF MARCH 2018.
