Resolution No. 10-8052
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF OPA-LOCKA, FLORIDA TO
AUTHORIZE A THREE PERCENT (3%) COST OF
LIVING INCREASE FOR ALL CITY EMPLOYEES
RETROACTIVE TO JANUARY 1, 2010 TO BECOME
EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY UPON ADOPTION;
PROVIDING FOR INCORPORATION OF
RECITALS; PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE
DATE.
WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Opa-Locka, desires to adopt a
three percent(3%) cost of living increase for all City employees; and
WHEREAS, the three percent (3%) cost of living increase will be retroactive to
January 1, 2010 and will become effective immediately upon adoption:
NOW, THEREFORE,BE IT DULY RESOLVED BY THE CITY
COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF OPA-LOCKA,FLORIDA:
Sectionl. The recitals to the preamble herein are incorporated by reference.
Section 2. The City Commission hereby authorizes the City Manager to
implement a three (3) percent cost of living increase for, all City employees retroactive to
January 1, 2010, to take effect immediately.
Section 3. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon adoption.
PASSED AND ADOPTED THIS 28th DAY OF April,2010.
