AUTHORIZING A PROFESSIONAL SERVICES CONTRACT FOR
ENGINEERING SERVICES 'VITH CME ASSOCIATES ..:
HEALTH AND WELLNESS CENTER
WHEREAS, the Borough of Carteret is in need of specialized drafting and
engineering services related to the Carteret Health and Wellness Center; and
WHEREAS, CME Associates, 1460 Route 9 South, Howell, New Jersey 07731,
possesses the requisite experience and expertise to provide said services; and
\VHEREAS, c:rvm Associates has submitted a proposal to provide said services
at a total cost not to exceed $3,000.00; and .
\VHEREAS, the Mayor and the Cotmcil have r~viewed said proposal; and
WHEREAS, the-Chief Financial Officer has certified that funds are or will be
available for said purpose.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and the Council ofthe
Borough ofCarteret, County of Middlesex, State of New Jersey, as follows:
1. The proposal from CME Associates for drafting and
engineering services related to the. Calteret Health and
Wellness Center, at a total cost not to exceed $3,000.00 is
. hereby approved;
2. This action is approved as an award of a professional services
contract pursuant to N.J.S.A. 40A:1l-5(1)(a) in accordance
with the Borough's Fair and Open Process as authorized by
law.

3. A copy of this Resolution be fonvarded to the Borough's
Purchasing DepartmenJ and Ct-.;ffi Associates.
