ARCHITECTURAL SERVICES \VITH POTTER ARCHITECTS -
CONSTRUCTION DOCUMENTS FOR HEALTH Ai'ID WELLNESS CENTER

'VHEREAS, the Borough of Carteret is in need of specialized architectural services in
.connection with construction documents of building floor plans, elevations and sections,
construction details and notes; finish, door and window schedules; fmmdation and
stmctural plans, details and notes; mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire protection and
structural systems engineering and drawings; civil engineering and site plans signed and
sealed documents for permit filing building permit review for the Health and vVel1ness
Center; and
WHEREAS, Potter Architects, 410 Colonial Avenue, Union, New Jersey 07083,
possesses the requisite experience and expertise to provide said services; and
\VHEREAS, Potter Architects has submitted a proposal to provide said services at a total
cost not to exceed $335,500.00; and,
,
'VHEREAS, the Mayor and Council have reviewed said proposal; and
WHEREAS, the Chief Financial Officer certifies that fuuds are or will he available for
said purpose.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Council of the Borough
ofCarteret, County of Middlesex, State of New Jersey, as follows:
1. The proposal of Potter Architects for specialized architectural
services in connection with construction'documents of building
floor plfLns,.elevations and sections, constmction details and notes;
finish, door and window schedules; foundation and structural
plans, details and notes; mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire
protection and structural systems engineering and drawings; civil
engineering and site plans signed and sealed documents for permit
filing building permit review for the Health and Wellness Center at
a total cost not to exceed $335,500.00 is hereby approved,
Annexed hereto is a copy of sa1d proposal;

3. This action is approved as an award of a professional services
contract pursuant to NJ.S,A., 4QA:II-5(1)(a) in accordance with
the Borough's I:air and Open Process as authorized'by law.

PROFESSIONAL SERVICE CONTRACT FORIN CONNECTION WITH
COMPLETE DOCUMENTS OF BUILDING FLOOR, PLANS, ELEVATIONS,
STRUCTRUAL PLANS, COMPLETE SEALED DOCUMENT FOR PERMIT FILING,
BUILDING PERMIT REVIEW ON HEALTH & WELLNESS CENTER.
NOT TO EXCEED $335,500.00
According to the terms set forth in the Resolution.
THE BOROUGH does hereby agree to pay the Contractor the sum set fOlih in
Resolution.
