APPROVING PROFESSIONAL SERVICES CONTRACT -
SLAVIN & MORSE, LLC
WHEREAS" the Borough of Catteret is in need of professional legal services with regard to
ABC related matters; and
WHEREAS, the law firm of Slavin & Morse, LLC, possesses the requisite experience and
ex~rtise to provide said specialized legal services; and
WHEREAS, the law finn of Slavin &Morse, LL~ has submitted a proposal to provi~e said
selVices at a maximum cost not to exceed $62.50; and
WHEREAS, the Olief Financial Office'r has certified that funds are or mIl be available for
said purpose.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Ccuncil of the Borough
of Catteret that the law finn of Slavin & Morse, LLC be appointed as special counsel to
address ABC license related matters at a maximum cost not to exceed $62.50.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that this action.is approved as an award of a
professional services contract pursuant to N.J,S.A 40A:1l-5(1)(a) in accordance with the
Borough's Fair and Open Process as authorized by law. '
