Dear Conchita:
Thank you for service to the Village of Key Biscayne (the "Village") as its Interim Village
Clerk. Effective today, you will transition into serving in an advisory role as Clerk Emeritus. The
terms and conditions of your role as Clerk Emeritus are set forth below:
1. As Clerk Emeritus, you agree to serve on a part-time basis to assist the Village,
including the Interim Village Clerk, to provide advice and guidance on an as -needed
basis, by being available by phone or email to answer any questions or provide any
requested assistance.
2. You agree and understand that you will work on an as -needed basis, which means that
you will be a part-time employee providing consulting and advisory services during
periods of limited duration, as may be required by the Village from time to time.
3. You will be paid $75/hour, which shall be earned for time actually worked and payable in
installments at the same time as other employees of the Village are paid.
4. Your employment relationship with the Village will be at -will, which means that either
you or the Village may terminate your employment at any time for any reason.
To indicate your acceptance of this offer, please sign this document in the space designated
below and return it to me at your convenience.
