Resolution No. 10-8075
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY
OF OPA-LOCKA, FLORIDA TO AUTHORIZE AND DIRECT
THE CITY MANAGER TO PREPARE A STREET AND ROAD
REPAIR PLAN AND COST ANALYSIS, WITH
IMPLEMENTATION OVER A SPECIFIED TIME; PROVIDING
FOR RECITALS; PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE
WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Opa-locka strives to keep the City streets and
roads in Opa-locka safe; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City Opa-locka desires the City Manager to prepare a
plan and cost analysis for repairing the streets and roads in the City of Opa-locka; and
WHEREAS, the City Manager should present to the City Commission of the City of Opa-locka
his findings on the costs and timing of repairing streets and roads:
NOW,THEREFORE, BE IT DULY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF OPA-LOCKA,FLORIDA:
Section 1. The recitals to the preamble herein are incorporated by reference.
Section 2. The City Commission of the City of Opa-locka, hereby authorizes and directs
the City Manager to prepare a plan and cost analysis, with a timeline for implementation,to repair the
streets and roads of the City of Opa-locka.
Section 3. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon adoption.
