'I RESOLUTION APPROVING PARTICIPATION IN THE JOINT POWERS AGREEMENT GOVERNING LOCAL GOVERNMFLNT INFORMATION SYSTEMS (LOGIS) BY CITY OF MEDIN WHEREAS, in 1972 a number of communities of the State of Minnesota identified benefits including cost, effectiveness and efficiency of joining together to cooperatively provide for the establishment, operation and maintenance of data processing facilities and management information systems for the use and benefit of the parties and others; and, WHEREAS, the consortium has further determined that a necessary adjunct of management information systems is providing information and data pertaining to health care options as part of employee benefits; and, WHEREAS, the members of LOGIS have determined through their Executive Committee that the management of information pertaining to health care options is interwoven with the selection and operation of such plans and that jointly contracting for such plan operation is a necessary and appropriate role for LOGIS; and, WHEREAS, CITY OF MEDINA [agency name] has determined that it is to its benefit to participate in LOGIS as an associate member with the initial intent of participating in the coordination of employee health care planning and service selection; NOW,THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Council [governing body] of the CITY OF MEDINA [agency and Clerk -Treasurer [authorities for signing agency contracts] to execute the LOGIS Joint and Cooperative Agreement, and appoints the Mayor [chief administrative officer] and Clerk -Treasurer [other person of administrative responsibility] to serve as its Director and Alternate Director respectively on the LOGIS Board of Directors, name] authorizes the Mayor Adopted this 17 day of Nber, 19, Attest; [a ori zs ignator ] f [Authorized clerk, etc.] .r- 1JT /.5 Member introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: CITY OF MEDINAQ RESOLUTION NO. // /7— / a 7 RESOLUTION GRANTING A CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT TO YVONNE MILLER WHEREAS, Yvonne Miller (Applicant) has applied for a conditional use permit to operate a car sales/repair facility at 4662 County Road 11; WHEREAS, the City's zoning ordinance requires a conditional use permit under such circumstances; and WHEREAS, this matter has been reviewed by the planning commission on September 9, 1987, and by the City Council on November 17, 1987; and WHEREAS, it has been determined that the operation of the proposed business will not impede the orderly development of adjacent properties. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Medina, Minnesota that a conditional use permit be granted to the Applicant for the stated purpose, subject to the following terms and conditions: 1. The Applicant shall use the property for limited commercial purposes and only in compliance with this permit; 2. There shall be no persons employed in the business who do not also live on the property; 3. There shall be no more than 10 parking spaces on the site, the location of which shall be satisfactory to the city staff; 4. The Applicant shall obtain road access to County Road 11; 5. The Applicant shall clean up the site by removing auto parts and hulks to the satisfaction of the city staff no later than September 1, 1988; 6. No cars with "for sale" signs shall be allowed near the road; 7. Any signs on the property shall be in compliance with City ordinances; 8. It is understood and acknowledged by the parties that the Applicant shall abandon the use allowed hereby or bring the property into full compliance with the City's commercial and industrial performance standards no later than 10 years from the date of adoption of this resolution by the City Council; and 9. The Applicant shall pay to the City a fee in the amount determined by the staff to represent the actual cost to the City of reviewing this conditional use permit application. Dated: `ate / , 1987.
