Resolution No. 10-8079
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY
OF OPA-LOCKA, FLORIDA, TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY
MANAGER TO CREATE A TEMPORARY SERVICE
WORKFORCE WORKING WITH THE HUMAN RESOURCES
DEPARTMENT; PROVIDING FOR RECITALS; PROVIDING
FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE
WHEREAS, the City of Opa-locka has occasional need for temporary services from various
individuals for a variety of employment needs; and
WHEREAS, it would be preferable if the temporary service could be performed by qualified
City residents in need of employment; and
WHEREAS, the Human Resources Department could maintain a file on qualified City residents
for various services; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Opa-locka desires the City Manager to create a
temporary service workforce, working with the Human Resources Department, of qualified City
residents:
NOW,THEREFORE, BE IT DULY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF OPA-LOCKA,FLORIDA:
Section 1. The recitals to the preamble herein are incorporated by reference.
Section 2. The City Commission of the City of Opa-locka, hereby authorizes and directs the
City Manager to create a Temporary Service Workforce, working with the Human Resources Department,
of qualified City residents who could perform various temporary services.

Section 3. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon adoption.
