A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY
OF OPA-LOCKA, FLORIDA, TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY
MANAGER TO NEGOTIATE AN AGREEMENT TO WORK
TOGETHER WITH THE OPA-LOCKA COMMUNITY
DEVELOPMENT CORP (CDC); PROVIDING FOR RECITALS;
PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE
WHEREAS, the Opa-locka Community Development Corp. (CDC) is a central synergist of
growth for the City of Opa-locka; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City Opa-locka desires the City Manager of the City of
Opa-locka to work together with the Opa-locka Community Development Corp. (CDC) in the
rehabilitation of abandoned and foreclosed properties in the City of Opa-locka:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT DULY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF OPA-LOCKA,FLORIDA:
Section 1. The recitals to the preamble herein are incorporated by reference.
Section 2. The City Commission of the City of Opa-locka,Florida, hereby authorizes and
directs the City Manager to negotiate an agreement, subject to City Commission approval,to work
together with the Opa-locka Community Development Corp. (CDC) in the rehabilitation of abandoned
and foreclosed properties in the City of Opa-locka.
Section 3. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon adoption.
