AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE ACQUISITION AND/OR
CONSTRUCTION OF -i\. HEALTH AND WELLNESS CENTER FOR THE
BOROUGH OF CARTERET, COUNTY OF MIDDLESEX, NEW JERSEY,
APPROPRIATING 81,713,060 FROM GRANTS, DONATIONS AND
ENDOWMENTS IN THE CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT FUND RESERVE
ACCOUNTS OF THE BOROUGH FOR THE COST THEREFOR
BE IT ORDAlNED BY THE BOROUGH COUNCJL OF THE BOROUGH OF
CARTERET IN THE COUNTY OF MIDDLESEX, NEW JERSEY, AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION L The Borough of Carteret, in the County of Middlesex, New Jersey, hereby
authorizes the acquisition and/or construction of a health and wellness center together with
all purposes necessary, incidental or appurtenant thereto:
SECTION 2, For said improvements or purposes, there is hereby appropriated the srun of
$1,713,060 which amounts are made available from Grants, Donations and Endowments in
the Capital Improvement Fund Reselye for Developer Contributions $1,326,060, and
Reserve for Land Sale 8387,000,
SECTION 3. The Capital Budget of the Borough is hereby amended to confonn with the
provisions of this Ordinance to the extent of any inconsistency herewith.
SECTION 4. The purposes described in Section 1 herein are not current expenses, These
are aU Improvements that the Borough may lawfully undertake as General Improvements,
and no part ofthe costs thereofhas been or shall be specially assessed on property specially
benefited thereby,
SECTION 5, This Ordinance shall take effect as provided by Law.
