CITY OF MEDINA
RESOLUTION NO. Sig. 7
RESOLUTION GRANTING PRELIMINARY
APPROVAL OF A SUBDIVISION
FOR SAM CLAASSEN AND MARY CLAASSEN
WHEREAS, Sam Claassen and Mary Claassen (Applicants) have requested
approval of a plan to subdivide a parcel of 17 acres at Pinto Drive and Co.
Rd. 24 according to the survey attached hereto as Exhibit A; and
WHEREAS, the planning commission and city council have reviewed the
preliminary subdivision plan submitted by the Applicants.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Medina,
Minnesota that preliminary approval is granted to the Applicants for their
subdivision, subject to the following conditions:
1. The Applicants shall dedicate right-of-way along pinto Drive and Co.
Rd. 24 as required by the city engineer.
2. The private road to serving the subdivision shall be constructed to
city specifications.
3. The newly created lots shall be served by the private road.
4. The Applicants shall pay to the city a park dedication fee as
determined by the city staff.
S. The Applicants shall comply with the recommendations of the city
engineer regarding grading along Pinto Drive.
6. The Applicants shall enter into a private road agreement in a form
satisfactory to the city attorney;
7. The Applicants shall pay to the city for administrative expenses the
amount determined by the city staff to represent the actual cost to
the city of reviewing the subdivision;
8. The Applicants shall submit a current abstract of title or registered
property abstract covering all land within the subdivision for
review by the city attorney; and
9. The Applicants shall submit the final plat to the city for approval
within 180 days of the date of the adoption of this resolution,
which final plat shall in all material respects conform to the
preliminary plat, except that it shall incorporate all changes and
modifications required by this resolution.
