HomeMy Public PortalAbout1988-005Member Mitchell introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: CITY OF MEDINA RESOLUTION NO. 0- S- RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING PLACEMENT OF ADDITIONAL FILL MATERIAL AT WOODLAKE LANDFILL WHEREAS, Woodlake Sanitary Service, Inc. (Woodlake) owns and operates the Woodlake sanitary landfill (Landfill) within the City of Medina; and WHEREAS, Woodlake has requested permission to place an additional five feet of fill on top of Area I of the Landfill; and WHEREAS, Woodlake has submitted and the city staff has reviewed a plan for the placement, grading and final treatment of said additional fill. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Medina, Minnesota that approval is hereby granted for the placement of five feet of fill material on Area I of the Landfill, subject to the following conditions: 1. The fill shall be of acceptable material and shall be covered by top soil and seeded. 2. The fill placed on Area I of the Landfill pursuant to this approval shall not be removed in the future; and 3. All fill shall be in place and the area covered with top soil and seeded by no later than June 1, 1988, weather permitting. Dated: February 2, 1988.
