HomeMy Public PortalAbout1988-008Member introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: CITY OF MEDINA RESOLUTION NO. (17, Y RESOLUTION GRANTING A CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT TO NORTHSIDE ROOFERS AND BUILDERS WHEREAS, Northside Roofers and Builders (Applicants) have applied for a conditional use permit to permit continued use of the building located at 42 Hamel Road for multifamily residential use; and WHEREAS, the City's zoning ordinance requires a conditional use permit under such circumstances; and WHEREAS, this matter has been reviewed by the planning commission on January 12, 1988, and by the City Council on February 2, 1988; and WHEREAS, it has been determined that the continued use of the building for multifamily residential purposes will not impede the orderly development of adjacent properties. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Medina, Minnesota that a conditional use permit be granted to the Applicants for the stated purpose, subject to the following terms and conditions: 1. It is recognized by the parties that there is no driveway easement but that there exists sufficient area on the site for purposes of access; 2. The Applicants shall pave the parking area and entrance within five years of the date of this resolution; 3. The Applicants shall pay an additional 1.2 SAC units by June 1, 1988, or upon issuance of a building permit, whichever occurs first ; 4. The Applicants shall remove the old pump house prior to June 1, 1988; 5. The residential units shall meet all applicable building and fire codes; 6. It is understood by the parties that any change in use of the site in the future will necessitate review and approval by the City, which approval may be subject to certain conditions; and 7. The Applicants shall pay to the City a fee in the amount determined by the staff to represent the actual cost to the City of reviewing this conditional use permit application.
