Resolution No. 10-8100
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY
OF OPA-LOCKA, FLORIDA TO APPROVE A WAIVER OF
$32,000.00 ON THE CODE ENFORCEMENT LIEN ON THE
PROPERTY LOCATED AT 13300 ALEXANDRIA DRIVE;
PROVIDING FOR INCORPORATION OF RECITALS;
PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, as of May 28, 2010, the property located at 13300 Alexandria Drive is facing
foreclosure; and
WHEREAS, the City of Opa-locka has the option to waive outstanding amounts of Code
Enforcement liens on the property; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Opa-locka desires to waives a portion of the
outstanding Code Enforcement liens on the property located at 13300 Alexandria Drive:
IT DULY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF OPA-LOCKA,
FLORIDA:
Section 1. The recitals to the preamble herein are incorporated by reference.
Section 2. The City Commission of the City of Opa-locka, hereby waives outstanding Code
Enforcement liens and citations on the property located at 13300 Alexandria Drive in the amount of
$32,000.00, out of a total of $65,406.58, leaving a balance due on said Code Enforcement liens of
$33,406.58. The City Manager is authorized to negotiate a payment plan for the remaining balance due.
Water and Sewer liens on these properties are not waived, and shall remain in full force.
Resolution No. 10-8100
Section 3. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon adoption.
