WHEREAS, the City of Opa-locka issued Request for Qualifications(RQF)No. 10-0524, for construction management services to oversee the Sherbondy Village Community Center project; and WHEREAS, the City received two (2) responses to the Request for Qualifications from Lawrence Wright Construction Management Services and Grace and Naeem Uddin; and WHEREAS,the City's Evaluation Committee recommended Lawrence Wright and Partners, LLC; and WHEREAS, the City Manager recommends that the City accept Lawrence Wright & Partners,LLC,for the construction management services for Sherbondy Village Community Center, and that the City Manager be authorized to negotiate a price and a contract acceptable to the City Commission: NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT DULY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF OPA-LOCKA,FLORIDA: Resolution No 10-8101 Section 1. The recitals to the preamble herein are incorporated by reference. Section 2. The City Commission of the City of Opa-locka hereby authorizes and directs the City Manager to negotiate with Lawrence Wright&Partners, LLC, to provide the construction management services required for Sherbondy Village Community Center, in order to negotiate a price and a contract acceptable to the City Commission.
