RESOLUTION OF CONCURRENCE
RESOLUTION -
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Medina that Medina concurs with Hennepin County's proposal to redesignate
existing County Road 29 as County State Aid Highway 29 beginning at County
State Aid Highway 19, at or near the northeast corner of Section 25,
Township 118, Range 24; thence south along County Road 29, on or near the
east line of said Section 25, the municipal boundary between Medina and
Maple Plain, to the intersection with Trunk Highway 12, approximately 1550
feet south of the northeast corner of said Section 25 and there terminate
the redesignation all within the Cities of Medina and Maple Plain.

RE: County Road 29 From CSAH 19 To TH 12
Dear Ms. Roehl:
This letter is to inform you of the County's proposal to redesignate existing
CR 29 as CSAH (County State Aid Highway) 29 and to request City concurrence
with this action.
Changing road designation doesn't change jurisdictional responsibility. As a
CSAH, the roadway remains under County jurisdiction and will continue to be
operated and maintained in accordance with County policy and standards.
To proceed with the redesignation, we need a resolution of concurrence from
the City. I've attached a sample resolution and request that you submit it or
a similar resolution to the City Council for appropriate action. Following
approval by the Council, please return one (1) certified copy of the
resolution to me.
