Minutes of February meetings were read and on motion by Kruse second by Luwe, approved as read, motion carried- Harlyn Kneppe having filed a Doctors certificate in lieu of paying his Poll tax, same was considered,and on motion was denied. motion carried - Mayor reports that he has received payment from Insurance Comp;-ny in the amount of $45.12 for damages to Hydrant,struck by Automobile of Eldon Huieman. It was moved that the consic'eration of a.Pportionin� the Consolidated tax levy be posponed to some special meeting,. Mayor Council met in special session on call of the Mayor; - Mayor Ross presiding and all councilmen present. - The matter of acceptance of the Nennv Pump, end adopting the annortionment of Consolidated Tax levjr� was considered by the council. It was moved by Haack second by Luwe that the New Pump in the new Well be accepted- motion carried. It was moved by Lindama.n & seconded by Haack that the bill for $1993.08 of Hoeg &, Ames in Payment of the pump and sales tax be approved- motion carried. T,_he matter of improving the old. well was considered, and the Water committee were instructed to hire Hoeg & Ames to make a test of the water vein and make proper repairs, if results of findings showed that the old well was worth the expense of making such improvement, amme should be ordered.done Motion carried. It was moved by Kruse second by Luwe that the following Resolution be adopted. ' Be it resolved by the Town council of the Town of Wellbsurg thatp/- The Town council of Wellsburg shall appropriate the estimated revenue from the Consolidated Tax levy made in accordance wits the law, for the several funds as provided by law, and that the said estimated revenue shall be and by this Resolution is, set aside and apportioned in the following ratio for the use of each of the several f>>nds as provided as follows;- $ 1000.00 General Fund $ ftax00 Sewer Fund $ 25.00 Light Fund ?$650.00 Waterworks Fund Q$775.00 Grading Fund $25.00 Improvement Fund 825.00 There being no other business, it was moved that council adjourn.
