Barnstable County Proposed Ordinances No . 1744

On January 17 , 2018 , at 44. 30 p .m. , the Assembly of Delegates will hold a public hearing on
Proposed County Ordinance 1744 ; To amend the Barnstable County Home Rule Charter Article
3 ; Section 3 - 1 (Composition, Term of Office) . and 3 - 9 (if a vacancy occurs in the office of
member of the board of regional commissioners during the term for which a member is chosen) .
The public hearing will be held in the Chamber of the Assembly of Delegates , First
District Courthouse, Route 6A, Barnstable, MA.
Anyone wishing to testify orally will be welcome to do so . Written comments may also be
submitted at the hearing, e-mailed to the office (aofd@barnstablecounty , org), or delivered or
mailed for receipt by Noon on or before the date of the hearing to the Office of the Assembly of
Delegates, First District Courthouse, Route 6A, Barnstable, MA 02630 .
The full text of Proposed Ordinance 17- 14 has been distributed to the Town Cleric of each
town in Barnstable County and is also available from the office of the Assembly of Delegates ,
First District Courthouse, Route 6A, Barnstable, MA. , and on line at
