AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, AUTHORIZING THE
TRANSFER OF REAL PROPERTY LOCATED AT 1015 E. ATCHISON STREET, IN THE CITY
OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, TO THE OLD TOWN REVITALIZATION COMPANY, A 501C-3
NOT-FOR-PROFIT ORGANIZATION.
WHEREAS, the property was purchased with CDBG grant funds in October 2010 at the
request of the Old Town Revitalization Company; and
WHEREAS, the Old Town Revitalization Company was created to initiate, sustain and
augment investment and revitalization in an area of Jefferson City identified as
"Old Town".
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI AS
FOLLOWS:
Section 1: The property located at 1015 E. Atchison was acquired with Federal CDBG
grant funds at the request of the Old Town Revitalization Company;
Section 2: In completing the transfer of the property located at 1015 E. Atchison, the
Council shall continue to cooperate with the Old Town Revitalization Company to initiate,
sustain and support investment in the Old Town sector;
Section 3: The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to sell and
execute a warranty deed for the transfer of said property located in Jefferson City, Missouri;
Section 4: This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after the date of its
passage a�/ pproval.
