BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. The Council finds that the following described easements are surplus property of the City and are no longer needed for any public purpose: A. Sanitary Sewer Easement Description; Book 320, Page 442, as shown by Plat Book 12, Page 314. Part of a 10 feet wide sanitary sewer easement, recorded in Book 320, Page 442, Cole County Recorder's Office lying across part of Lot 27 of Chapel Hill Commons, Section Three, as per plat of record in Plat Book 12, Page 314, Cole County Recorder's Office; said easement portion being vacated being a strip of land 10 feet wide lying 5 feet each side of and adjacent to the following described centerline; from the Northwest corner of Lot 27, thence S37°05'53"E, 30.06 feet to the POINT OF BEGINNING of said easement centerline; thence N85 055'29"E, 116.98 feet; thence N60002'22E", 58.16 feet to the point of termination of said centerline. B. Sanitary Sewer Easement Description; Book 320, Page 432, as shown by Plat Book 12, Page 314. (This clarifies Section 1C. of previously approved Ordinance No. 14736, recorded in Book 597, Page 782, Cole County Recorder's Office). Part of a 10 feet wide sanitary sewer easement, recorded in Book 320, Page 432, Cole County Recorder's Office lying across part of Lot 27 of Chapel Hill Commons Section Three, as per plat of record in Plat Book 12, Page 314, Cole County Recorder's Office; said easement portion being vacated being a strip of land 10 feet wide lying 5 feet each side of and adjacent to the following described centerline; from the Northwest corner of Lot 27, thence S37°05'53"E, 30.06 feet; thence N85°55'29"E, 116.98 feet; thence N60 002'22"E, 58.16 feet to the POINT OF BEGINNING of said easement centerline; thence continuing N60°02'22"E, 21.56 feet; thence N20°43'27"E, 6.46 feet to the point of termination of said centerline. C. Sanitary Sewer Easement Description; All that part of a perpetual and permanent sewerage transmission line easement, as described in the Circuit Court of Cole County, Missouri, Division Il, Case No. CV183-598CC, 73-B-3, that part being vacated being more particularly described as follows: That part of a perpetual and permanent sewerage transmission line easement, 15 feet in width, the centerline for the vacated portion being described as follows: From the Southeast corner of the Northwest Quarter of Section 4, Township 44 North, Range 12 West; thence N 83°57' E, along the Quarter Section Line 218.91' to the beginning point of said centerline; thence S 27°16'52" W, 26.09'; thence N 83°55'19" W, 132.02'; thence N 81 016'39" W, 296.87 feet to the easterly right-of-way of Scott Station Road and point of termination of said centerline. Section 2. The easements described in Section 1 are hereby relinquished, and the City does hereby release and abandon whatever interest previously held in such easements. Section 3. The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized to execute any necessary legal documents relinquishing all of the City's interest in the tracts of land described in Section 1. Section 4. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after the date of its passage and approval.
