RESOLUTION NO. O 1 -3 D
RESOLUTION GRANTING A
CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT TO
WAYNE B. HALL
WHEREAS, Wayne B. Hall (Applicant) has applied for a conditional use
permit to operate a machine shop at 582 T.H. 55; and
WHEREAS, the property is used as the Applicant's residence but is
zoned commercial; and
WHEREAS, the City's zoning ordinance requires a conditional use permit
under such circumstanes; and
WHEREAS, this matter has been reviewed by the planning commission on
April 12, 1988, and by the City Council on May 3, 1988; and
WHEREAS, it has been determined that the operation of a machine shop
in the garage on the property will not impede the orderly development of
adjacent properties.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Medina, Minnesota, that a conditional use permit be granted to the
Applicant for the stated purpose, subject to the following terms and
conditions:
1. Any signs constructed on the site by the Applicant shall comply
with city codes;
2. Hours of operation shall be limited to 7:00 a.m. to midnight;
3. No more than one non—resident employee shall be permitted to work
in the machine shop;
4. Any noise audible outside of the garage shall be at a level which
is compatible with residential use;
5. There shall be no outside storage of trash on the site;
6. The Applicant shall comply with all requirements of the building
inspector regarding the machine shop;
7. There shall be no exterior lighting on site; and
8. The Applicant shall pay to the City a fee in the amount deter-
mined by the staff to represent the actual cost to the City of
reviewing this conditional use permit application.
