HomeMy Public PortalAbout1988-037Member its adoption: introduced the following resolution and moved CITY OF MEDINAyy Qp 2 RESOLUTION NO. 0 . 7 RESOLUTION GRANTING FINAL APPROVAL TO HAROLDEPEDERSON AND DONNA MAE PEDERSON FOR MOHAWK ESTATES WHEREAS, HaroldE.Pederson and Donna Mae Pederson (Applicants) have re- quested final approval of the plat to be known as Mohawk Estates; and WHEREAS, the city council has reviewed the final plat and compared it with the plat previously given preliminary approval. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Medina, Minnesota that approval is granted to the Applicants for the plat of Mohawk Estates, subject to the following conditions: I. The Applicants shall cause a new well to be drilled on parcel 1; 2. The septic systems shall be in working order to the satisfaction of the building inspector; 3. Parcel 1 shall be 5.0+ acres and parcel 2 shall be 6.23 acres; 4. Animals shall be permitted only in the structure labeled "barn" on the plat; 5. The existing gas pump and tank shall be removed; 6. No park dedication fee shall be required because there are existing homes on both parcels; 7. The Applicants shall pay to the City for administrative expenses the amount determined by the city staff to represent the actual cost to the City of reviewing the plat; 8. The Applicants shall execute an affidavit regarding whether there have been any encumbrances placed against the property since the date of certification of the abstract used by the city attorney to examine the condition of title; and 9. The Applicants shall file the final plat of record within 60 days of the date of adoption of this resolution. Failure to file the final plat within such period of time shall render the City's approval null and void. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED BY THE City Council of the City of Medina, Minnesota, that variances shown on Exhibit A attached hereto be granted for the setbacks of the buildings because they are existing structures.
