PROPERTY TAX CANCELLATION
WHEREAS, Block 130, lot 7 for property located at 37 Lincoln Avenue was assessed at
$191,200 in 2008, and
'VHEREAS f upon further review, the tax Assessor has determined that the tax assessment
for 2008 should have a value of$132,500, and
'VHEREAS I the original higher assessment as stated in the 2008 extended tax duplicate
has placed an additional tax burden on the taxpayer, and
WHEREAS, the Tax Collector is recommending that the 2008 taxes be cancelled
accordingly.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the Borough of Carteret,
County of Middlesex, New Jersey, that the Tax Collector cancels taxes as follows:
