Meeting Notice Posted for Thursday, January 14, 2010, Room 211, Town Hall at 7:30 p.m.
CPC Attendees:
Six 6 Members were present creating a quorum. Chairman John Coolidge (Planning); Jeff
Doherty (Open Space); Andre Navez (Selectmen Appt.); Robert Murphy (Conservation); Lillian
Holden (Housing Authority); Henry Kunicki (Selectmen Appt.).
Carol Deverve (Planning Board), Nancy Peters and Malcolm Page also attended the meeting.
Minutes of the Meetings for October 2009 and November 2009 taken by Jeff Doherty were
reviewed and changes made including the addition of Henry Kunicki as a member of the
committee in the October 2009 minutes; and Lillian Holden having attended the meeting in
November 2009. The motion to accept the minutes was voted and passed unanimously.
The upcoming Projects for FY2011 were reviewed and discussed. The Funding Accounts for
FY2011 were also discussed and John C. will revise the funding sheet for next meeting.
There are currently twelve (12) projects on the docket for FY2011. Namely:
-$4,000 Cemetery Commission, repair & reset headstones within the Main Street
Cemetery.
-$30,000 Cemetery Commission, repair/replace the Comey Chapel roof in Evergreen
Cemetery.
-$9,850 Historic District Commission, Town Hall Landscaping
-$60,000 Historic District Commission, Claflin Memorial Fountain
-$7,000 Hopkinton Area Land Trust, trail signs at various trail head/properties.
-$25,000 Town Clerk, continued restoration of Hopkinton Upton Land Books
-$22,000 Historical Commission & Society, Oral History Project
-$4,000 Hopkinton Public Library Digitization Project
-$300,000 Norman Khumalo, Town Mgr. Town Hall Renovations
-$45,000 Fruit Street Fields/Access Road
-$7,500 Parks & Rec. Town Common, Design & Landscape Plan
-$10,000 Maspenock Dam preservation

Hall Landscaping (Historical).
-Michaelyn Holmes in regard to Oral History (Historical)
-Norman Khumalo, Town Manager re: Town Hall Renovations (Historical)
-Ken Driscoll (Active Recreation) re: Fruit Street Fields/Access Road.
Our next meeting is scheduled for Thursday, February 25th at 7:30 p.m. in Room 211.
