RESOLUTION CALLING A PUBLIC HEARING
FOR THE VACATION OF A ROADWAY
AND UTILITY EASEMENT
WHEREAS, Thomas Anderson and Dorothy Anderson (Owners) recently platted
property within Medina over a portion of which existed an easement 60 feet in
width for roadway and utility purposes; and
WHEREAS, a condition of approval of the plat was the vacation of said
easement; and
WHEREAS, said easement may be vacated only after a public hearing follow-
ing two weeks' published and posted notice.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Medina,
Minnesota as follows:
1. A public hearing on the vacation of the easement for roadway and utility
purposes on the Owners' land is called for the 5th day of July, 1988, at
$:cvo p.m. in the council chambers at city hall.
2. The city clerk -treasurer is hereby authorized and directed to cause a
notice of said hearing to be published in the official newspaper and to be
posted on the propoerty at least two weeks prior to the hearing.
