PROPERTY TAX CANCELLATION
WHEREAS, Block 82, lot 5, for property located at 11 Polk Avenue was assessed at
$211,700 in 2008, and
'VHEREAS, upon further review, the Tax Assessor has detennined that the tax assessment
for 2008 should have a value of$139,800, and
'VHEREAS, the original higher assessment as stated in the 2008 extended tax duplicate has
placed an additional tax burden on the taxpayer, and
WHEREAS, the Tax Collector is recommending that the 2008 taxes be cancelled
accordingly.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Council of the Borough of
Carteret, County of Middlesex, New Jersey, that the Tax Collector cancels taxes as follows:
