W H E RE A S , on December 6, 2021, the Village of Key Biscayne ("Village") issued Request for Qualifications No. 2022-02 ("RFQ") for professional engineering, project management, and related services (the "Services") for the Resilient Infrastructure and Adaptation Program (RIAP) ("Program"); and WHEREAS, on July 26, 2022, the Village Council adopted Resolution No. 2022-34, approving a continuing professional services agreement (the "Agreement") with Black and Veatch Corporation (the "Consultant") to perform the Services for the Program on a continuing basis; and WHEREAS, the Consultant has provided a proposal, attached hereto as Exhibit "A" (the "Proposal") to perform the Services for the preparation and creation of the Resilient Infrastructure Integration Implementation Plan (RI3P), the Program Management Plan, the Procore™ Project Management Information System, and other related deliverables relating to the Program (the "Project"); and WHEREAS, the Village Council desires to authorize the Village Manager to issue a work order for the Project consistent with the Proposal attached hereto as Exhibit "A" and the Agreement in an amount not to exceed $1,381,631; and WHEREAS, the Village Council finds that this Resolution is in the best interest and welfa re of the residents of the V illage. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF KEY BISCAYNE, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. Recitals. T hat each of the ahove-stated recitals are hereby adopted. confi rm ed, and incorpora ted herein. Section 2. Authorization. T hat the V illage C ouncil hereby authorizes the Village M anager to issue a w ork order fo r the Pro ject consistent with the Pro posal attached hereto as Exhibit "A " and the Agreem ent in an am ount not to exceed $1,381,631. Section 3. Effective Date. T hat this Resolution shall be effective im m ediately upon adoption.
