RESOLUTION NO. u, 143
RESOLUTION GRANTING PRELIMINARY
APPROVAL FOR A LOT DIVISION FOR
DOUGLAS W. LEATHERDALE
WHEREAS, Douglas W. Leatherdale (Applicant) has requested permission to
subdivide a 27 acre parcel into two lots, one containing five acres and the
other 22 acres; and
WHEREAS, the planning commission reviewed the proposed lot division on
April 12, 1988, and May 10, 1988, and recommended approval thereof, with
conditions.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Medina,
Minnesota, that preliminary approval be granted to the Applicant for the re-
quested lot division, subject to the following terms and conditions:
1. The Applicant shall pay to the City a park dedication fee for
Parcel B in an amount to be determined by city staff;
2. There shall be an outlot 60 feet in width created along the
entire length of the property for a future road;
3. The new outlot shall be used to provide access for a driveway
for Parcel B;
4. Access to any additional lot or lots created in the future
shall be from the outlot;
5. Any animal structure built on the property must meet all city
ordinances, incuding setback requirements;
6. It is acknowledged that the existing barn on Parcel A is non-
conforming with regard to setback requirements; and
7. The Applicant shall submit a current abstract of title or reg-
istered property abstract covering all land within the subdi-
vision for review by the city attorney.
