A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY ° COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD
AUTHORIZING THE RELEASE OF A REQUEST_.FOR PROPOSAL ,FOR4.Y~THE
PRINTING OF THE CITY NEWSLETTER, LYNWOOD{`Ny'PERSPEC~TN;E'`(LNP.)?~ }'~;

WHEREAS, on October 7, 2008 the City Council`'approved an agreement with
ACE Commercial, Inc. for the printing of the City's monthly community newsletter, LNP;
and
WHEREAS, the term of this agreement was for a one-year period of October 8,
2008 to October 7, 2009 with an automatic three-month extension period; and
WHEREAS, on January 5, 2010 the City Council approved an extension on the
agreement of said services to a month=to-month basis from January 7, 2010; and
WHEREAS, the month-to-month contract extension for said services is set to
expire on June 30, 201-0; and ;
WHEREAS, in anticipation of the end of the current month-to-month contract,
staff is seeking approval to solicit vendors to submit proposals via the formal bid
process; and !
WHEREAS, the City of Lynwood desires to have qualified vendors present
proposals to continue printing the City's Lynwood 'N Perspective Newsletter (LNP).

NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD DOES
HEREBY FIND, PROCLAIM, ORDER, AND RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That staff is authorized and directed to send out a Request for
Proposals for a printing service. ;
Section 2. This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption.
PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED this 4th day of May, 2010.
