THE LED RETROFIT PROJECT, PROJECT NO. 4011.67.882 AS BEING
COMPLETE; AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY ENGINEER TO;~,PROCESS THE

WHEREAS, on December 15, 2009, the City°Council of the City of Lynwood
awarded the LED Retrofit Project contract to Republic ITS, Inc., in the amount of
$227,852; and
WHEREAS, the project started on February 8, 2010 and was completed on April
8, 2010.
WHEREAS, the p'roject is financed through loaned funds from the California
Energy Commission;~and
WHEREAS, the final construction cost is $227,852; and
WHEREAS, Public Works staff conducted the final inspection on April 12, 2010
and found that all work is complete in ~ accordance with the project plans and
specifications.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD DOES
HEREBY FIND, PROCLAIM, ORDER, AND RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the City Council of the City of Lynwood accepts the LED
Retrofit Project, Project No.4011.67.882 as complete in accordance with contract
documents; and authorizes the City Engineer to process the recordation of the Notice of
Completion.
Section 2. This Resolution shall go into effect immediately upon its adoption.
Section 3. The City Clerk shall certify as to the adoption of this Resolution.
PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED this 4th day of May, 2010.
