RESOLUTION NO. 10-8132
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF OPA-LOCKA, FLORIDA AUTHORIZE
CITY MANAGER TO DIRECT THE CITY OF OPA-
LOCKA POLICE DEPARTMENT TO DEVELOP A
PROGRAM TO ISSUE IDENTIFICATION CARDS TO
RESIDENTS AND NON-RESIDENTS; PROVIDING
FOR INCORPORATION OF RECITALS; PROVIDING
FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE
WHEREAS, the City of Opa-locka has received a high request from citizens for
identification cards; and
WHEREAS,the City Commission of the City of Opa-locka desires to assist the residents
of Opa-locka; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Opa-locka authorizes the City Manager
to direct the City of Opa-locka Police Department to issue identification cards to citizens and non
citizens at a cost:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT DULY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION
OF THE CITY OF OPA-LOCKA, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The recitals to the preamble herein are incorporated by reference.
Section 2. The City Commission of the City of Opa-locka hereby directs the City
Manager to authorize the City of Opa-locka Police Department to develop a program to issue
identification cards to residents and non-residents.
Section 3. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon adoption.
