CREATING HANDICAPPED pARKING SPACE FOR
7 PARK PLACE
WHEREAS, Mrs. Aldana Hojecki of? Park Place has requested a Handicapped
Parking Space; and
WHEREAS, this individual has met the requirements of the Traffic Safety
Bureau for said parking space; and
WHEREAS, the Borough Engineer has inspected said location and has no
objection to the approval of said Handicapped Parking Space; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT AND IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED by the
Mayor and Council of the Borough of Carleret that the following Handicapped
Parking Space shall be designated:
7 Park Place

Adopted this 25th of September, 2008
and certified as a Ime copy ofthe original
on September 26th, 2008.

Dear Ms. Barney:
As requested, we have reviewed the applicant's request for the designation of an on-street
handicapped parking space to be located on Park Place Street along the property frontage.
Based on our site visit the property in question meets the requirements for the designation
of a handicapped parking space, and fillthermore, as required by NJSA Title 39:4-197.5,
the subject application indicates the applicant possesses a valid disabled person
identification card.
Therefore, since there are no physical or regulatory restrictions for designating a
handicapped parking space at this location, we Borough granting
the applicant's request for a designated handicapped parking space in front of 7 Park
Place Street, subject to the approval of the Borough's Traffic Safety Officer.
