A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF OPA-LOCKA, FLORIDA, DETERMINING THAT
GREEN SOURCELANDSCAPE SPORTS TURF INC.,IS THE
MOST RESPONSIVE AND RESPONSIBLE BIDDER FOR
THE SHERBONDY PARK FIELD RENOVATIONS PROJECT,
AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXPEND
FUNDS IN AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED ONE HUNDRED
TEN THOUSAND SIX HUNDRED FORTY SEVEN DOLLARS
AND TEN CENTS ($110,647.10) FOR THE SHERBONDY
PARK FIELD RENOVATION PROJECT, PAYABLE FROM
ACCOUNT NUMBER 44-541802; PROVIDING FOR
INCORPORATION OF RECITALS; PROVIDING FOR AN
EFIECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS,the City of Opa-locka is preparing to complete Phase II of Sherbondy Park field
renovation; and
WHEREAS,the Parks and Recreation Department received a grant from the Miami-Dade
County Office of Safe Neighborhoods Bond Oversight Committee in the amount of$293,000.00;
and
WHEREAS, the City of Opa-locka issued RFP No. 10-1808200, seeking proposals to
complete the Field Renovations project at Sherbondy Park; and
WHEREAS, the City of Commission of the City of Opa-locka determines that Green
Sourcelandscape7 Sports Turf Inc., is the most responsive and responsible bidder; and
WHEREAS the City Commission of the City of Opa-locka authorizes the City Manager to
expend funds in an amount not to exceed$110,647.10 for Sherbondy Park Field Renovations project,
payable from Account No. 44-541802; and

NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT DULY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF OPA-LOCKA,FLORIDA:
Section 1. The recitals to the preamble herein are incorporated by reference.
Section 2. The City Commission of the City of Opa-locka determines that Green
Sourcelandscape7 Sports Turf Inc., is the most responsive and responsible bidder for RFP No. 10-
1808200,and authorizes the City Manager to enter into the attached contract for the Sherbondy Park
Field Renovations project, and to expend funds in an amount not to exceed One Hundred Ten
Thousand Six Hundred Forty Seven Dollars and Ten Cents ($110,647.10), payable from General
Fund Account 44-541802.
Section 3. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon adoption.
NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT DULY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF OPA-LOCKA,FLORIDA:

CONFLICTS; PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY;AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE
Description: The Parks and Recreation Department received a grant from the Miami-Dade
County Office of Safe Neighborhoods Bond Oversight Committee in the amount of$293,000.00
to complete aspects of phase two of the Sherbondy Village.
