After con:siaering the bids it was moved by Schmidt, 6econded by Riekena, that the Council accept the lour bid, with the following additional alternates: Cab -over Motor, and Power Steering. The Clerk was instructed to return the certified checks of the unsuccessful bidders , Motion carried. Henry Hippe:n was the. low.bidder with a G.M.C. at 04760.00, to include alternates. The Council instructed Don Kliebenstein, Attorney, to proceed with the legal steps required for the 1963 Street Program, and to proceed with the legal.steps necessary to transfer funds with- in the budget , for the purpose of purcbLa.sing a Fire Trucl..
