RESOLUTION NO. p p_5-4
RESOLUTION GRANTING PRELIMINARY
APPROVAL OF A SUBDIVISION
FOR FLOYD OLSON
WHEREAS, Floyd Olson (Applicant) has requested approval of a plan to
subdivide a parcel located on Chippewa into two lots according to the survey
attached hereto as Exhibit A; and
WHEREAS, the planning commission and city council have reviewed the
preliminary plat submitted by the Applicant.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Medina,
Minnesota that preliminary approval is granted to the Applicant for his
subdivision, subject to the following conditions:
1. The final plat shall show a drainage easement satisfactory to the
city engineer;
2. The Applicant shall submit a revised survey showing an even division
of the property;
3. The Applicant shall pay a park dedication fee for the newly created
eastern lot;
4. Outlot A shall provide access for both lots;
S. The Applicant shall dedicate the right-of-way for Chippewa required
by city staff;
6. The plat shall be reviewed and approved by Pioneer Creek Watershed
District;
7. The Applicant shall pay to the city for administrative expenses the
amount determined by the city staff to represent the actual cost to
the city of reviewing the subdivision;
8. The Applicant shall submit a current abstract of title or registered
property abstract covering all land within the subdivision for
review by the city attorney; and
9. The Applicant shall submit the final plat to the city for approval
within 180 days of the date of the adoption of this resolution,
which final plat shall in all material respects conform to the
preliminary plat, except that it shall incorporate all changes and
modifications required by this resolution.
