Invitation For Bid
Professional Historic Resource Consulting Services
The Town of Brewster through the Town Administrator’s Office is seeking bids for
professional Consulting Services to assist the Town and the Community Preservation Committee
to complete Form B’s for up to 100 historic properties throughout Brewster, Mass. The Invitation
for Bid is available in the Selectmen’s Office, Donna Kalinick-Procurement Officer at 2198
Main Street, Brewster, MA 02631 or by phone request to 508-896-3701 x 1130 or via e-mail to

Working on behalf of the Town of Brewster, the person, or firm shall, consistent with
State statutes, collect, verify, compile, and report in a proscribed format data, dimensions and
statistics related to a minimum of the 30 properties in Phase I and 70 properties in Phase II.
Professional services are expected to commence on or before January 31, 2018. Phase I will
consist of attending all necessary meetings and providing advice to the Town of Brewster
associated with the development of the Project’s design. Phase II is subject to appropriation.
Qualified persons or firms are requested to submit bids to George Boyd, Chairman,
Brewster Historical Commission at 2198 Main Street, Brewster, MA 02631 no later than ,
January 12, 2018 at 3:00PM. The Town of Brewster reserves the right to reject any and all
proposals or parts of bids; to waive any defects, informalities and minor irregularities; to accept
exceptions to these specifications; to award contracts or to cancel this IFB if it is in the Town’s
best interest to do so. A contract for the Services will be awarded by the Town to the responsive
and responsible bidder offering the lowest price for the services specified in the IFB in
accordance with MGL 30B.
