A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF OPA-LOCKA, FLORIDA, AUTHORIZING THE
CITY MANAGER TO MAKE A DONATION OF TWO
THOUSAND DOLLARS ($2,000.00) TO THE 2010 SPECIAL
NEEDS TOY RUN SPONSORED BY THE BLACK GLOBAL
BIKERS ASSOCIATION, INC., PAYABLE FROM
ACCOUNT NO. 19-519493
WHEREAS, the Black Global Bikers Association, Inc., is sponsoring the annual 2010 Special
Needs Toy Run to be held on Saturday December 4, 2010; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Opa-locka ("City Commission") has
determined that this event is a worthwhile cause; and
WHEREAS,the City Commission desires to partner with the Black Global Bikers Association in
their sponsorship of the 2010 Special Needs Toy Run.
NOW,THEREFORE, BE IT DULY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF OPA-LOCKA,FLORIDA:
Section 1. The recitals to the preamble herein are incorporated by reference.
Section 2. The City Commission of the City of Opa-locka hereby authorizes the City
Manager to make a donation of Two Thousand Dollars ($2,000.00) to the 2010 Special Needs Toy Run
sponsored by the Black Global Bikers Association,Inc.,payable from Account 19-519493.
Section 3. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon adoption.
PASSED AND ADOPTED THIS 8th day of December,2010.
