AUTHORIZING A PROFESSIONAL SERVICES CONTRACT
WITH APPRAISAL CONSULTANTS CORP.
WHEREAS, the Borough of Cartere! is in need of professional appraisal services with
regard to real estate tax appeals with regard to block 50.02 lot 1.02 and block 49.2 lot 2 &
49.01 within the Borough of Carteret; and
WHEREAS, Jon Brody of Appraisal Consultants COJ:p., 293 Eisenhower Parkway, Suite
200, Livingston, NJ 07039 possesses the requisite training, experience and expertise to
provide said professional appraisal sen'ices; and
"'HEREAS, Jon Brody has proposed to perform the above services at a cost not to
exceed $4,350.00; and
WHEREAS, the Chief Financial Officer has certified that funds are or will be available
for the same.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Council of the Borongh
ofCarteret, County of Middlesex, State of New Jersey.s follows:
1. That jon Brody of Appraisal Consnltants Corp. is hereby retained as a
licensed, professional appraiser in the above referenced matter at a cost
not to exceed $4,350.00.
2. That this action is approved as an award of a professional services contract
pursuant to N.J.S.A. 40A:II-5(1)(a) in accordance with the Borough's
Fair and Open Process as authorized by law. '

And the Borough of Carteret a municipal Corporation having its Principal Office at the
Borough Hall, 61 Cooke Avenue, Carteret, New Jersey.
As per Resolution Number 08.243.
THE CONTRACTOR does hereby agree to perform the following:
PROFESSIONAL SERVICE CONTRACT FOR TAX APPEALS IN REGARD TO
BLOCK 50.Q2 LOT 1.02 AND BLOCK 49.2 LOT 2& 49.01.
NOT TO EXCEED $4,350.00
According to the terms set forth in the Resolution.
THE BOROUGH does hereby agree to pay the Contractor the sum set fOlih in
Resolution.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the parties hereto have hereunder set their hands and seals or
caused these presents to be signed by their proper corporate officers and their corporate
