AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, AUTHORIZING THE
MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE AN AGREEMENT WITH ENVIRONMENTAL
ENGINEERING, INC. FOR THE ENERGY EFFICIENCY IMPROVEMENTS AT THE JOHN
G. CHRISTY MUNICIPAL BUILDING.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, AS
FOLLOWS:
WHEREAS, Environmental Engineering, Inc., has become the apparent lowest and best
bidder on the John G. Christy Municipal Building Energy Efficiency
Improvements project;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The bid of Environmental Engineering, Inc., is declared to be the lowest
and best bid and is hereby accepted.
Section 2. The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to execute
an agreement with Environmental Engineering, Inc., for the Energy Efficiency
Improvements to the John G. Christy Municipal Building.
Section 3. The agreement shall be substantially the same in form and content as
that agreement attached hereto as Exhibit A.
Section 4. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after the date of
its passage and approval. q�

Environmental Engineering, Inc. in the amount of$82,000.00.

Re: Energy Efficiency Improvements Christy Building
Project No. 63017
Public Works has completed a review of the bids opened at 1:30 PM on April 5, 2011 for the above
noted project. As part of the review all the bids were tabulated to check for math errors and to compare
unit price quotes of the various contractors. Attached to this memo is the tabulation of the four (4) bids
that were received for the project.
Based on our review, we recommend acceptance of the base bid from the low bidder Environmental
Engineering, Inc., P.O. Box 104478, Jefferson City MO 65110. The bid total is $82,000.00.
The project will be expensed as follows:
