REQUESTING APPROVAL OF INSERTION OF $2,500 THE
2008 BUDGET REVENUE AVAILABLE FOR THE CARTERET
LIBRARY FROM THE PARENT EDUCATION GRANT
'lliEREAS, N.J.S. 40:4-87 provides that the Director of
Local Government Services may approve the insertion of
any special item of revenue in the budget of any
unicipality when such item shall have been made
available by law and the amount thereof was not
determined at the time of the adoption of the budget,
and
lliEREAS, said Director may also approve the insertion of
any item of appropriation for equal amount.
OW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Borough of
Carteret hereby requests the Director of the Division of
Local Government Services to approve the insertion of an
item of revenue in the budget of the year 2008 in the
sum of $2,500 which item is now available as a revenue
for the Carteret Library from the Parent Education
Grant.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a like sum of $2,500 be and
the same is hereby appropriated under the caption of:
Library-Parent Education Grant
Adopted this 9th day of October, 2008
and certified as a true copy of the
original on October 10, 2008.
