RESOLUTION 2018-02-02
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE TOWN MANAGER TO EXECUTE AN AGREEMENT WITH
GRAND PARK REGARDING SNOW MANAGEMENT
WHEREAS, The Town of Fraser has accepted the majority of improved streets in the Village at
Grand Park while portions of Grand Park Drive and Main Street have not yet been dedicated due
developer concerns related to anticipated impacts of future lot development; and
WHEREAS, in order to access all of the streets that have been dedicated and accepted by the
Town, Town equipment travels across streets that have not yet been dedicated; and
WHEREAS, Town staff believes that it would be in the public’s best interest to provide snow
management services on those yet to be dedicated portions of roadway within the Village at
Grand Park provided that an agreement with the developer is in place establish clear expectations
related to liability and related matters; and
WHEREAS, an agreement to allow Town equipment to travel along the undedicated and unpaved
portions of Old Victory Road and Grand Park Drive would provide efficiencies in our snow routes;
and
WHEREAS, Grand Park is willing to enter into such an agreement.
BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE TOWN OF FRASER,
COLORADO THAT:
1. The Town Manager is hereby authorized to execute an agreement regarding snow
management with Grand Park pending Town Attorney approval.
READ, PASSED ON ROLL CALL VOTE, AND ADOPTED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES THIS
7th DAY OF FEBRUARY 2018.
