Resolution No. 10-8165
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY
OF OPA-LOCKA, FLORIDA, REQUIRING ALL INTERESTED
APPLICANTS WHO SEEK TO SERVE ON CITY BOARDS
AND/OR COMMITTEES TO COMPLETE AN APPLICATION
FOR THE DESIRED POST SOUGHT; PROVIDING FOR
RECITALS; PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE
WHEREAS, the City of Opa-locka has various board and committee positions available for
citizens volunteers; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission desires to have complete information on all applicants
desiring to serve on a board and/or on a committee; and
WHEREAS, applicants seeking to serve on a board or on a committee should submit an
application to the City Clerk:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT DULY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF OPA-LOCKA,FLORIDA:
Section 1. The recitals to the preamble herein are incorporated by reference.
Section 2. The City Commission of the City of Opa-locka, hereby requires that any and all
applicants seeking to serve on a board or on a committee, must complete an application for the post, on
the prescribed form, and submit it to the City Clerk.

Section 3. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon adoption.
