ORDINANCE NO. - I
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, AUTHORIZING THE
MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT WITH STOCKMAN
CONSTRUCTION CORPORATION TO CONSTRUCT THE COLE JUNCTION FORCE
MAIN REALIGNMENT.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, AS
FOLLOWS:
WHEREAS, Stockman Construction Corporation, a construction company located in
Jefferson City, Missouri, has provided the lowest and best bid to complete
the work needed to facilitate this project.
NOW, THERFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
JEFFERSON, MISSOURI AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The Mayor is hereby authorized to execute a contract with Stockman
Construction Corporation forthe construction ofthe Cole Junction Forcemain Realignment
Project.
Section 2. The contract shall be substantially the same in form and content as the
change order attached hereto as Exhibit A.
Section 3. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after the date
of its passage and approval.

Stockman Construction Corporation of Jefferson City, Missouri in the amount of
$87,812.00.

Project No. 31102
Wastewater Division has completed a review of the bids opened at 1:00 PM on April 21, 2011 for the
above noted project. As part of the review all the bids were tabulated to check for math errors and to
compare unit price quotes of the various contractors. Attached to this memo is the tabulation of the five
(5) bids that were received for the project.
Based on our review, we recommend acceptance of the base bid from the low bidder Stockman
Construction Corporation, 2021 Idlewood, Jefferson City, Missouri 65109. The bid is $87,812.00.
The project will be expensed as follows:
