AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, DECLARING
PROPERTY SURPLUS AND AUTHORIZING THE SALE OF NSP PROPERTY AT 1109
EAST MILLER STREET IN THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, COLE COUNTY, MISSOURI.
WHEREAS, a notice of the property was published in the News Tribune with only one
qualified response received.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Property at 1109 East Miller, which was acquired with Federal NSP
grant funds is hereby declared surplus.
Section 2. In completing the transaction of the NSP property located at 1109
East Miller Street, Jefferson City, Missouri, the Council shall waive requirements not
fulfilled as set out in Sec. 2-385 of the Code including, but not limited to, the obligation
to offer the property to adjoining but non-qualifying landowner.
Section 3. The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to sell
and execute a warranty deed for the transfer of property located at 1109 East Miller
Street, Jefferson City, Missouri.
Section 4. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after the
date of its passage and approval.
