RESOLUTION APPROVING CHANGE ORDER
WHEREAS, on August 9, 1999, the Mayor and Council of the Borough of Carteret
entered into a contract with P & H Construction in the amount of $109,3000.00; and
WHEREAS, the Borough Engineer has informed thc Governing Body that a
modification of the contract is reasonable and necessary given the emergent nature
of the repairs; and
WHEREAS, the Borough Engineer has fmlher certified that said modifications
wcre unforeseen at the time the original contract was awarded;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the sum of $l,531.87 is hereby
added to the original contract and payment of the modified amount is hereby
approved.
Adopted this 4th day of May, 2000
and certified as a true copy of the
original on May 5, 2000.

THE CONTRACTOR does hereby agree to perform the tbllo~ving
CHANGE ORDER TO ORIGINAL CONTRACT IS REASONABLE AND
NECESSARY GIVEN THE EMERGENT NATURE OF THE REPAIRS.
NOT TO EXCEED $1,531.87.
According to the terms set forth in Resolution.
THE BOROUGH does hereby agree to pay the Contractor the sum set
